5 experiences you must-have in your life

So, what is the most exciting moment you’ve ever had in your life? Or is it something that you are still waiting to happen?

I’ve seen plenty of lists online that says about the Must-haves in your bucket list. But, somewhere I find them less realistic at times. You need not do something really huge or out of the world to have the bliss and excitement of trying out something new.

You can always hold onto little things, step a bit out of your comfort zone, and still have all the adrenaline rush that pushes you forward to do things that YOU thought would never do.

Here are 5 such moments I think one must have in their life, which will create an impact on them.

1. Unplanned, unknown Get-aways

I love this.

I love this so much that I have tried this a lot.

Getaways are an essential part of staying sane when you are so much done with your regular routine. This getaway does not always mean you going on a trip to Goa or Gokarna. It can be a silent evening, watching the sunset, an early sunrise trip, an evening coffee time, or a solo food expedition where you spend time with yourselves, enjoying the moment, and nothing else.

You feel the moment.

I usually resort to the beaches, as they are my favourite. I also spend a few days unplugging myself from all the electronics. Without letting anyone know of my itinerary, sometimes not even me, those short, unplanned getaways always hit on a different level. You can vibe with total strangers, and maybe if you are lucky, get to hear some of the very inspiring stories.

2. Coordinating events

Have you felt the pride moment of standing back among the audience and watching how beautifully one of the events you coordinated stages so perfect in front of you?

This gives me chills.

Whatever be it, managing and getting to conduct a programme or an event calls for patience, coordination, punctuality, skills, and almost all the flavours of talents known to mankind.

It is not required for YOU to have all of these, but it requires to select a team that brings together all of these. It becomes your responsibility to work in sync and lead a team. You get to learn about team spirit, the strength to stand for each other, and moreover learn humanity.

The night you go to sleep with all the compliments that were showered for your successful show will cover up for the nights that were sleepless and tiresome.

3. Getting a pet

This might sound a little obvious, but I still know people who do not think pets are not really important. I am speaking to them.

Pets of any kind. Can be dogs, cats, tortoises, birds or anything. (Even though dogs are my favourite) Having a pet of your own will improve your sense of responsibility and a sense of empathy.

Pet therapies are a thing and the positive effects are still a big factor. They can love us unconditionally, sometimes the love that you have never received from anywhere else.

Those puddles of innocence and care can make you a better person in almost all directions! How can you say no to those cute little things? [P.S: I still hate my flat association for the no-pet-in-the- apartment rule]

4. One-sided broken love

Is the air a little thick now?

Yes. you heard it right. One-sided, unrequited love will teach you how deep and how intense you can love someone irrespective of the returns.

Loving someone will call you to love yourselves first. You might be pretty amazed at how idiotic and smart you could be at the same time.

Being broken is not a great feeling, but it will give you a chance to learn what went wrong and to have a self-inspection. Do not wait for someone else to validate you, rather you must be the only person to judge and evaluate you.

Rise up each time you fall down, that’s the drill (That’s my insta bio too!)

Nights that you spent crying will strengthen you from within to face what comes the next morning.

5. Quarantine

Well, we’ve all been quarantined for more than 20 days, and as we can see, we are making huge progress.

Except for that fact that the world is facing serious health concerns and other issues that might follow this quarantine period, let's talk about the positive side of quarantine days.

These days have given even the busiest person to rest for a while. It has given enough time for all to slow down our pace and to come back to the basics.

The earth is healing to an extent and nature is calming her vexation.

We are getting time to self evaluate and to develop new skills. New challenges, new habits, new lifestyle. More family time and more happiness.

[Still, I do not forget the difficulties faced by people all around the world during this period and I do respect the health department and all the governments who try to bring the situation under control]

But, this is one hell of an experience.

I bet you too would have similar kinds of must-have moments in your life. Conquering and fulfilling each of your dreams take you one step closer to the bundle of happiness and self-esteem. No dreams are big or small. Let us inspire each other fulfilling each of the wishes, smiling a little wider with a happier heart and a lighter mind.
